1. Overview

Studio Splitz (operated by CTRL Music Platforms LLC) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. section 512, we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Studio Splitz platform that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

2. Filing a Notice of Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our Designated Agent that includes substantially the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including a URL or specific session reference on Studio Splitz where the material is located.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe that material you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. section 512(g) to the same address above. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Studio Splitz has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

6. False Claims

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. section 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake may be liable for damages.
